SOCR 2008 Election
Nine Director applications were submitted for the nine available positions. Thanks to all the applicants who volunteered to share their expertise for the continued accomplishment of the Commercial Society’s goals.
From December 5th through December 12th, you will be asked to participate in the voting process by choosing five (5) Directors to serve two year terms and four (4) Directors to serve one year terms.
The governing Directors serve as spokespersons for the Society and for the entire industry. High integrity and an understanding of the ethics of the organization are, of course, prime requisites in a Director. High on the list of desirable qualifications are personal success in business and experience, the ability to put the good of the Society first and the ability to lead and delegate. A Director should also be a proven performer, active in SOCR, professional and community activities.
Be sure to review the applications and be ready to cast your vote beginning December 5th.
