Have you considered serving as Director for the Society of REALTORS® of Greater Fort Lauderdale?

The governing Directors serve as spokespersons for the Society and for the entire industry. High integrity and an understanding of the ethics of the organization are, of course, prime requisites in a Director. High on the list of desirable qualifications are the ability to put the good of the Society first, the ability to lead and not direct, the ability to delegate and personal success in business and experience. A Director should be a proven performer, active in the Society, professional and community activities.

If you have the qualities to be a leader and are willing to lend your expertise to the successful accomplishment of Society goals, complete the Director Candidate Application. All completed – original and typed - candidate applications forms must be returned to the Commercial Society office either by mail or in person on or before 5 pm, Monday, July 6, 2009.

Monday, July 6
Closing date for receipt of all candidate application forms.
Original application must be mailed or dropped off.

Thursday, July 16
Post completed resumes on website.

Wednesday, August 12
Voting Rolls close

Wednesday, August 19
Paper ballots mailed to members with no e-mail address.

Friday, August 21
Voting begins. E-mail from Internet Crusade sent to eligible.
Voting can be done on-line, by mail or in person.

Friday, August 28
Closing date for voting.
All votes must be in no later than 5:00 p.m.

Monday, August 31
Count ballots/ certify on-line voting results.

Tuesday, September 1
E-mail election results/ post on website.
